EMBA class of 2003 regroup after five years

On Thursday 23 October 2008 members of the EMBA Class of 2003 and members of faculty and staff met at Libertine French Dining Rooms in North Melbourne to celebrate their five year reunion.  A great night was had by all. Jan Begg and the Dean gave the welcome. Damian Burton led the group on a journey down memory lane. Professor John Onto made a toast to the class and Frank Zipfinger responded with a toast to the School.

In celebration of all that they gained from MBS, the Class has committed to raising an endowment to support programs which will have significant social impact. Such programs include scholarships for people from disadvantaged communities, internships for MBA students to serve in NGOs and not for profit agencies and immersion experiences to broaden and deepen the appreciation of diverse communities.

Professor John Onto, in giving the toast to the Class, congratulated them on their ambition to build the endowment and the wonderful contributions they were making in the diverse professions and industries they served.

Endowment progress

The Class has set it's sights on reaching a target of $500,000.  This will be a record class gift in the School’s history. Pledges to the endowment are well over half way.
