MBA/Master of Information Systems
The MBA/MIS combines the study of Information Technology Management and Business Management. It is designed for high-achieving students on a fast track to Chief Information Officer (CIO) positions in senior management. The MIS is fully accredited by the Australian Computer Society and MIS and MBA graduates are successfully employed in multinational companies internationally.
The MBA/MIS is jointly offered by the Melbourne Business School and The Department of Information Systems (Melbourne Graduate School of Science) at the University of Melbourne. The MBA/MIS is a 26 subject combination that can be completed in a minimum of two years full time, and includes a combination of subjects from both the MBA and MIS programs.

Please note: Part-time students must enroll in the PDM/MIS. A transfer to the MBA may be possible after successful completion of a minimum of 6 subjects, and a grade point average of 70%. The MIS/PDM is a 15 subject combination that includes subjects from both the MIS and MBA programs.
