Professor Patrick BessonProfessor Patrick Besson

Patrick Besson is a Professor of Strategy and Leadership at ESCP-EAP and a visiting Professor at MBS. He is a consultant in Strategic Change Management and coaches Senior Executives and top management teams in new global assignments and transition management. Patrick is the Editor of the Vital Roux Collection on Entrepreneurship and has been publishing actively in academic and professional reviews. 


Terri Mandler

Terri Mandler leads the School's coaching team and is responsible for the design, development and delivery of its coaching methodologies, solutions and materials. She has worked with a variety of public and private sector organisations in Australia and New Zealand. A member of the the School's leadership teaching group, she has been responsible for the Mt Eliza Business Leadership Program and draws upon an extensive HR consulting background in assessing leadership needs against organisational frameworks.

Michael Ryall is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Economics at MBS. His primary research interest is the formal theoretical foundations of business strategy. Before joining MBS he was Assistant Professor, Economics and Strategy, at Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester and has also held senior management positions in the private sector.


Richard SearleRichard Searle

Richard Searle is a teacher and consultant with wide experience in Australia and overseas. He specialises in executive and management development, with a particular interest in building negotiating skills. He developed Mt Eliza’s portfolio of Negotiation and Decision-Making Programs for Managers, and is a member of the school’s Leadership Knowledge Group.


Professor Michael VitaleMichael Vitale
Professorial Fellow – Innovation
PhD (Dartmouth), MBA (Harvard), BA (Oakland University)

Michael Vitale is the director of the MBS’ innovation research program and focuses his teaching, research, and consulting on commercialisation of innovation, particularly in biotechnology.  Prior to coming to Australia, he was a Fellow at the Ernst & Young Center for Business Innovation in Boston and an Associate Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School.

Denice Welch is co-author (with Peter Dowling) of the leading global textbook in the field of International Human Resource Management.  She has taught International Business and International Strategy courses at Monash University's Graduate School of Management, the Norwegian School of
Management in Oslo, Norway, the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, and the Helsinki School of Economics in Finland. 


Professor Lawrence Welch Lawrence S. Welch
Professorial Fellow - International Marketing and International Business

Lawrence Welch has published extensively on issues pertaining to internationalisation and international business operation methods and is a member of the editorial boards of a number of international business journals. His research has involved extensive collaboration with Nordic colleagues over more than three decades. Also, he has spent long periods undertaking research and teaching in Nordic business schools, particularly at the Norwegian School of Management BI, Helsinki School of Economics and Copenhagen Business School.

 


Jillian Barrie

Jillian Barrie has been a senior Sales, Marketing and Organisational Development Manager for over 20 years - working for large corporations including Coles Myer and Sensis Pty Ltd. Today, she manages her own consultancy company and specialises in Strategic and Business Planning, Sales and Marketing Strategies and Changing Demographics and its impact on Talent Acquisition and Retention.

For the last 2 years, Jillian has been specialising in assessing the impact of changing demographics on the workforce and its impact on Talent Acquisition and Retention. She is working with a number of employment agencies and large organisations to attract and retain highly talented staff and to manage the "war for talent." She is a key note speaker on this subject at various conferences nationally.
